My favorite church (yes, I have favorite churches, though I wouldn’t say I’m religious in any way..) in Munich is the Theatinerkirche, which is to be found directly on Odeonsplatz in the center of town. Compared to the dark and depressing looks that seem to be the norm for most German catholic churches, this one is white, light and welcoming!
